IT ACTUALLY STARTED WITH FISHING.

Audacity Marine didn't begin with a business plan to start a detailing company.

It started with fishing.

Founder Jamie LaVanway Oestreich was already sharing fishing knowledge and helping people become more confident on the water when those conversations started turning into opportunities to fish alongside them. That led to freelance work on their boats, which led to helping care for and maintain those boats — and eventually revealed a much bigger need.

People were buying boats without really knowing what came next.

They knew they wanted to fish. They knew they wanted to spend weekends on the water. But suddenly they were trying to figure out maintenance schedules, detailing, oxidation, protection, repairs, tackle, equipment, who to trust, who to call and approximately 47 other things nobody mentioned at the dealership.

And the more boats Jamie worked around, the more obvious that gap became.

That need ultimately became the foundation for Audacity Marine.

Today, professional marine detailing and vessel care remain at the core of what we do, but the bigger vision has always been about helping people better understand, maintain and enjoy their boats.
